(Road Safety & Traffic Awareness Program) Save Lives, Save Nation

In the modern era, road accidents and related fatalities are increasing day by day, with human error and unsafe behavior being the major contributing factors. Negligence, over-speeding, distracted driving, non-adherence to safety norms, and lack of traffic awareness continue to endanger lives and impose severe social, emotional, and economic burdens on families and communities. These realities underline the urgent need for sustained public awareness, behavioral change, and community participation alongside enforcement measures.  Recognizing the urgent need and necessity to address this growing challenge, Hetch Foundation has conceptualized, designed, and initiated the “HarGhar Se EkSainik” initiative to promote road safety, responsible behavior, and traffic discipline through citizen-led articipation. HarGhar Se EkSainik is a nationwide initiative dedicated to promoting road safety, responsible driving, and traffic discipline across India. The initiative envisions that from every household, at least one family member becomes a “Sainik” a champion who understands, follows, and actively spreads awareness about road safety and traffic rules to prevent accidents and save lives. These Sainiks not only personally follow road safety and traffic rules with a strong sense of responsibility, but also actively promote safe road practices by encouraging and consistently insisting on adherence to road safety norms among their family members, friends, colleagues, and people in their neighbourhood. By sensitizing and positively influencing those around them, they help to cultivate a culture of safety and responsibility on the roads.

This ripple effect of awareness and behavioral change contributes significantly toward ensuring that:
“NEARER & DEARER NOT TO BE THE NEXT ROAD TRAFFIC VICTIM”
